Are you in crisis? Feeling stuck? Maybe some event in your life has sent you tumbling. No matter why you’re seeking help now, I’m sure you want to feel better; less confused, sad, anxious, or guilty. I can and want to support you in crafting a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
Did you know that Aspen trees don't spread by dropping seeds? Rather, the roots spread and pop up as new trees nearby. This means that an entire Aspen grove is actually a single organism that can cover thousands of acres! What's good for a few trees helps feed the rest of the grove, and what's destructive can hurt the whole being.
I think we're all a little like Aspens. We have emotional connections to other people; The person we are today is built upon the person we were; Our bodies, minds and spirits can never be fully separated. And our relationships, memories and beliefs can be powerfully sustaining...or be terrible burdens that weigh down our whole life.
I deeply believe that cultivating healthy connections that nourish us, courageously pursuing our life-long journeys of learning and growth, and intentionally building bend-but-not-break resilience lead to greater fulfillment and serenity, and I'm dedicated to helping people find their path.

Radical Decency is a framework developed by Jeff Garson, JD, LCSW which posits that a healthy culture would, at the very least, support us in being:
Sadly, our world fails to support any of these purposes. With its relentless emphasis on competition and winning, domination and control, our instinct to treat others -- and ourselves -- with compassion and caring is consigned to nights and weekends; the margins of our lives.
Here at Aspen, I strive to incorporate an approach to living that focuses on decency in all that we do, in every context of living, to ourselves, to others, and to the world. Link to Jeff's book here if you'd like to learn more.
